Movie vs Book. This struggle is real! Although many people will still go for the book, but there are some film that are way better than reading a novel.
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
The reason why it is better is because the book lacks the
intensity that made the movies so watchable. The book can’t really effectively
convey the emotional effect to the reader. There was no way of knowing the
chemistry effect between Noah and Ellie, which is the main character of the The
Notebook.
The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger
Meryl Streep is the most essential people in this movie
instead of gorgeous Anna Hathaway. In this movie, Meryl Streep is the
demanding, mean and arrogant chief editor of a high fashion magazine. She
brought complexity to the character that did not exist in the novel.
Warm Bodies by Issac Marion
Reading warm bodies is compelling but the added humour of the
film and the subtle parodying of the zombie genre made it much more enjoyable
than reading the novel. Besides, through visual it allows the audience to
explore the elements in the novel more effectively.
The Fault in our Stars by John Green
Why it is better? Majority of the people can’t stop weeping
while watching the fault in our stars in the cinema. Although the novel is fantastic,
but the readers couldn’t have the intense melancholy effect if they read the
novel.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling
Instead reading 435 pages novel that talking about wizards,
time travel, dark magic and animagi, you can reduced your time to approximately
150 minutes by watching the movie without skipping the most essential part of
Harry Potter.
